About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Auto Body Technician to perform professional bodywork on multiple vehicle panels at a vehicle reconditioning center in Belton, Missouri. Work includes heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large-area, heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. The position uses tools and equipment in a high-tech inspection center. The scheduled shift is Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., with overtime opportunities. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to heat or cold. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to heat or cold.
Ability to use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
Must be authorized to work without visa sponsorship for this role.
