About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Auto Body Technician for its Belton, Missouri location. The role performs bodywork on multiple vehicle panels, including heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large-area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. The position is based in a high-tech vehicle Inspection Center and uses state-of-the-art tools. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with overtime opportunities; mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Carvana describes itself as a used automotive retailer that inspects, repairs, and photographs vehicles at its Reconditioning Centers before listing them for customers. Employment is contingent on passing a background check, and the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
