About The Position

Carvana is seeking an experienced auto body technician to perform bodywork on multiple vehicle panels at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. Work includes heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large-area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. The position offers a competitive wage and a $6,000 bonus, along with company benefits and access to state-of-the-art tools. Carvana also provides training programs for entry-level employees to support skills and pay progression. The role supports Carvana’s vehicle reconditioning process, in which vehicles are inspected, repaired, and photographed before being listed for customers. Employees may need to work mandatory overtime based on business needs and may work in a fast-paced production environment with occasional exposure to excessive heat or cold. Applicants must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check; the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
