About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Auto Body Technician to perform professional bodywork at its vehicle reconditioning center in Belton, Missouri. The role involves repairs on multiple panels, including heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large-area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. The position is based in a high-tech inspection center and uses state-of-the-art tools.

The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with overtime opportunities. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may sometimes be exposed to excessive heat or cold. The role requires physical operation of vehicle equipment and tools, including lifting up to 60 pounds independently, and use of appropriate safety equipment.

Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be at least 18, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
