About The Position

Carvana is hiring a mid-level Auto Body Technician for its vehicle reconditioning operations in Belton, Missouri. The technician performs substantial bodywork across multiple panels, including heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large-area heavy bodywork such as Bondo repair. The position uses tools in a high-tech Inspection Center. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Overtime opportunities are available, and mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees to support skills and pay progression. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
