About The Position
Atlantic Coast Enterprises is hiring an experienced, certified Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician for a full-time position in the Miami Shores, Florida area. The role offers a five-day work week and hourly pay of $18–$24, depending on experience and certifications, rather than flat-rate pay. Technicians also earn commissions every two weeks based on store-level automotive repair net sales, typically ranging from $400 to $1,400. Hourly pay and commissions may result in annual compensation above $100,000. Employees can earn one-time $500 bonuses for certifications obtained while employed. The technician diagnoses vehicle problems, explains repair options to customers, completes agreed-upon repairs, and performs regular maintenance. The role calls for dependable work, attention to detail, effective time management, and clear, customer-friendly communication. Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Current AATI or ASE certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Brake work experience.
- Must have own tools.
- Honesty and reliability.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Service-oriented approach and attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot.
- Ability to explain technical information in layman's terms.
Responsibilities
