About The Position

Atlantic Coast Enterprises (ACE) is hiring a full-time experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician in the Ft. Lauderdale, Florida area. The role offers a five-day work week and hourly pay of $18 to $24, depending on experience and certifications. Technicians also earn commissions every two weeks based on store-level automotive repair net sales; the stated commission range is $400 to $1,400. Hourly pay and commissions may lead to annual compensation above $100,000. Employees can earn one-time $500 bonuses for certifications earned while employed by the company. ACE is a full-service lubrication, fluid, and automotive maintenance center that aims to provide fast, friendly, clean, and professional service. The technician maintains and repairs customer vehicles, diagnoses mechanical problems, explains repair options, completes agreed-upon repairs, and provides regular vehicle maintenance. The role emphasizes technical competence, integrity, and positive customer service.

Requirements

At least 18 years old.
Current AATI or ASE certifications.
Valid driver's license.
Brake work experience.
Must have personal tools.
Honesty and reliability.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Service-oriented approach and attention to detail.
Troubleshooting ability.
Ability to explain technical information in layman's terms.
