About The Position
Atlantic Coast Enterprises is hiring an experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician for a full-time position in the Miami, Florida area. The role offers a five-day work week and an hourly rate of $18–$24, depending on experience and certifications, rather than flat-rate pay. Technicians also earn commissions paid every two weeks, typically ranging from $400 to $1,400 based on store-level automotive repair net sales. Hourly pay and commissions may result in annual compensation above $100,000. Employees may also receive a one-time $500 bonus for certifications earned while employed by the company. The technician diagnoses mechanical problems, explains repair options to customers, completes agreed-upon repairs, and performs routine vehicle maintenance. The role emphasizes competent, reliable work and fast, friendly, professional customer service. Atlantic Coast Enterprises is a full-service lubrication, fluid, and automotive maintenance center and a Jiffy Lube franchisee. Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Current AATI or ASE certifications.
- Valid driver's license.
- Brake work experience.
- Must have own tools.
- Honesty and reliability, ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, service orientation, attention to detail, troubleshooting ability, and ability to explain technical information in layman's terms.
