About The Position

Atlantic Coast Enterprises is hiring an experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician for its Miami, Florida area team. This is a full-time position with a five-day work week. The technician maintains and repairs customers’ vehicles, diagnoses mechanical problems, explains repair options, completes agreed-upon repairs, and performs regular maintenance services. The role also emphasizes fast, friendly, professional service and a positive customer experience. Compensation is a non-flat-rate hourly wage of $18–$24, depending on experience and certifications, plus technician commissions paid every two weeks. Commissions range from $400 to $1,400 and are based on store-level automotive repair net sales. Hourly compensation and commissions may lead to annual compensation above $100,000. Employees may also receive one-time $500 bonuses for certifications earned while employed.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Hold current AATI or ASE certifications.
Have a valid driver's license.
Have brake work experience.
Have your own tools.
Be honest and reliable, able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, service-oriented, attentive to detail, comfortable troubleshooting, and able to explain technical information in layman's terms.
