About The Position

As an Auto Damage Trainee at GEICO, you will help customers after an accident by inspecting and assessing vehicle damage, estimating repair costs, negotiating equitable settlements, and working with body shops, rental companies, and parts providers. You will also resolve customer concerns and support a positive customer experience. The role includes a paid trainee program with three weeks of required hands-on training at GEICO’s Ashburn, Virginia facility. Training is completed in-office, followed by an opportunity to work 80% on-site and 20% off-site, subject to GEICO Flex location and work guidelines. The office location is 2280 N Greenville Ave, Richardson, TX 75082. Candidates must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving, and empathy skills.
Adaptability and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and multitask across platforms.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Customer-facing experience.
Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs and measurable goals.
Active adjuster’s license; training and exam fees are provided.
College degree.
