About The Position

As an Auto Damage Trainee at GEICO, you will help customers after an accident by inspecting and assessing vehicle damage, estimating repair costs, negotiating equitable settlements, and partnering with body shops, rental companies, and parts providers. You will resolve customer concerns and contribute to customer satisfaction through meaningful interactions. The role includes GEICO’s paid trainee program, with three weeks of required hands-on training at its Ashburn, Virginia training facility. After completing in-office training, there is an opportunity to work 80% on-site and 20% off-site, with additional off-site weeks available through GEICO Flex subject to location and work guidelines. The office location listed for the position is 2280 N Greenville Ave, Richardson, TX 75082.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving, and empathy skills.
Ability to adapt, pay attention to detail, prioritize, and multitask across platforms.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Customer-facing experience.
Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs and measurable goals.
Active adjuster license.
College degree.
