Auto Claims Desk Adjuster Hybrid
About The Position
Liberty Mutual is hiring an Auto Claims Desk Adjuster to guide insureds and claimants through the auto claims process from start to finish after an accident. The role involves managing multiple moving pieces, engaging with customers by phone, and providing guidance and support while claims are handled. No claims experience is needed; paid training and licensing are included. This is a hybrid role based in Naperville, Illinois. Employees must reside within 50 miles of the office, work in the office at least two days per month, and meet additional in-person training requirements during the first six months. The position is open only to US-based employees. The role is suited to customer service professionals who are empathetic, organized, comfortable problem-solving, and able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Adjusters represent the Liberty Mutual brand and work reliably across office and home environments while responding to customer needs.
Requirements
- Engaging, outgoing personality and passion for helping customers.
- Ability to think critically, use resources, and seek answers when needed in a virtual environment.
- Excellent oral, written, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Strong typing and multitasking capabilities in a structured paperless work environment.
- Strong working knowledge of and ability to use multiple systems during virtual training and to handle and process claims.
- General understanding of overall claim operations and key stakeholders.
- Must reside within 50 miles of the Naperville, Illinois office.
- Must be based in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- College degree preferred.
- One to three years of related customer service experience or applicable insurance knowledge.
