Auto Claims Desk Adjuster Hybrid
About The Position
Liberty Mutual is hiring an Auto Claims Representative to guide insureds and claimants through the auto claims process from start to finish after an accident. The role involves speaking with customers, helping them understand and navigate their claims, managing multiple moving pieces, and resolving problems while delivering empathetic, customer-centered service. The role is hybrid, based in Westborough, Massachusetts, and requires residence within 50 miles of the office. Employees must work in person at least two days per month, with additional in-person training during the first six months. No claims experience is needed; paid training and licensing are included. The position is open only to US-based employees. Applicants complete a skills assessment that takes approximately 35 minutes, with no time limit.
Requirements
- Engaging, outgoing personality and passion for helping customers.
- Ability to think critically, use resources, and seek answers when needed in a virtual environment.
- Excellent oral, written, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Strong typing and multitasking capabilities in a structured paperless work environment.
- Strong working knowledge of and ability to use multiple systems during virtual training and to handle and process claims.
- General understanding of claim operations and key stakeholders.
- Must reside within 50 miles of the Westborough, Massachusetts office.
- Must be based in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- College degree preferred.
- One to three years of related customer service experience or applicable insurance knowledge.
