About The Position
Liberty Mutual is hiring an Auto Claims Desk Adjuster to guide insureds and claimants through the auto claims process after an accident. The role involves managing claims from start to finish in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, engaging customers by phone, helping them understand the process, and resolving problems while delivering on the company’s service commitments. No prior claims experience is needed; paid training and licensing are included. The position is hybrid in Suwanee, Georgia, requires residence within 50 miles of the office, and requires at least two office days per month, with additional in-person training during the first six months. Applicants must be based in the United States.
Requirements
- Engaging, outgoing personality and passion for helping customers.
- Ability to think critically, use resources, and seek answers in a virtual environment.
- Excellent oral, written, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Strong typing and multitasking capabilities in a structured paperless work environment.
- Strong working knowledge of and ability to use multiple systems during virtual training and to handle and process claims.
- General understanding of claim operations and key stakeholders.
- Must reside within 50 miles of the Suwanee, Georgia office.
- Must be based in the United States.
- Available for at least two office days per month and additional in-person training during the first six months.
Nice To Haves

- One to three years of related customer service experience or applicable insurance knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Guide insureds and claimants through the auto claims process from start to finish.
- Speak with and engage customers who have recently been in an accident, reassuring them and helping them through the claims process.
- Manage multiple moving pieces while handling and processing claims.
- Represent the Liberty Mutual brand and deliver on its promise to customers.
- Use problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills to address customer needs.
