Authorization Representative I - BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy
About The Position
The Authorization Representative I at BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy completes and submits required forms for patients whose health plans require drug re-authorizations for different therapy types. The role enters re-authorizations into portals, ensures forms are completed accurately, submits them to the appropriate insurance plans, and tracks submissions. The representative follows up with insurance companies or physician offices by phone, email, or spreadsheets to determine patient approval or denial status. This is a hybrid role based at one of the listed offices in Lake Mary, Florida; St. Louis, Missouri; Harvey, Louisiana; Indianapolis, Indiana; or Denver, Colorado. Associates are expected to work in-office one to two days per week, and candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of a posting location unless an accommodation is granted. The schedule is Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, and at least one year of experience processing pharmacy prior authorizations; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities
