About The Position
This apprenticeship program at BDO is designed for school leavers who are ready to start their career, learn by doing, and see where their ambitions can take them. The program begins with an organization-wide induction on Monday, September 20th, 2027. BDO is a leading UK mid-market organization with over £1 billion in turnover and 8,000 employees. The Audit teams operate in specialized areas such as Pension Audit, Public Sector, Not-for-Profit, Financial Services, and Technology Risk Assurance, offering apprentices the chance to understand diverse organizational operations. Apprentices will be trusted to contribute early on and will learn alongside experienced colleagues, gaining practical experience and receiving support for their development. The program is focused on turning big ambitions into a career, with a strong emphasis on personal investment in the apprentice's growth.
Requirements
- Three A-levels (or equivalent) at A-C (excluding General Studies and Extended Projects), or four Scottish Advanced Highers at grade A-B (or equivalent, for example, BTEC Extended Diploma).
- GCSEs at grade 4 and above in Maths and English, or Scottish National 5 grade A-C.
- Commitment to balance study and professional work.
- The right to work in the UK for the duration of the 4-year training contract and employment (visa sponsorship is not provided).

Responsibilities
- Gain hands-on experience while working towards ACA, CFAB, or ICAS/RGU qualification over four years.
- Learn through challenging Audit work.
- Build relationships with clients.
- Develop technical, personal, and commercial skills as experience grows.
- Contribute to client work.
- Learn from colleagues at different levels across the organization.
- Build career foundations by doing the work.
- Receive coaching and support to grow confidence.
