About The Position

This is a one-year industrial placement program within the Audit department at BDO, starting on Monday, 20th September 2027. The program is designed for second-year undergraduate students seeking a third-year work placement. Participants will gain hands-on Audit experience, work with clients and colleagues, and develop technical, commercial, and relationship-building skills. The placement offers the opportunity to sit three professional exams and log six months of practical work experience, potentially accelerating the path to professional qualification. Successful placement students may have the chance to secure a graduate offer before their final year and return to BDO on the Graduate Programme, completing their remaining exams and training in 2.5 years.

Requirements

Be a second-year student on a four-year undergraduate degree, seeking a third-year work placement.
On track for a minimum 2:2 degree in any discipline (obtained or predicted).
Three A-levels or equivalent at grades A-C (excluding General Studies and Extended Projects) or four Scottish Advanced Highers at grade A-B.
GCSEs at grade 4 and above in Maths and English, or Scottish National 5 grade A-C.
The right to work in the UK.
Must be able to attend an organisation-wide induction on Monday, 20th September 2027.
Must live within a commutable distance of the office you apply to.
