About The Position

The Audit Graduate Programme at BDO offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on client experience, build confidence, and shape your career from the outset. This three-year program allows participants to work towards a recognized professional qualification, the ACA, while developing technical and commercial skills through real audit work. Graduates will gain exposure to various clients, sectors, and specialist areas, learning from experienced professionals. The program emphasizes growth in responsibility, with opportunities for graduates to engage in client calls and lead meetings earlier than expected. Upon successful completion and passing exams, graduates will be fully qualified accountants and guaranteed a permanent role with BDO. The program starts with an organization-wide induction on Monday, September 20th, 2027, which attendance is mandatory.

Requirements

A minimum 2:2 degree in any discipline (obtained or predicted).
Three A-levels (or equivalent) at A-C (excluding General Studies and Extended Projects), or four Scottish Highers or Advanced Highers at grade A-B (or equivalent, for example BTEC Extended Diploma).
GCSEs at grade 4 and above in Maths and English, or Scottish National 5 grade A-C.
Commitment to balance study and professional work.
The right to work in the UK (unable to provide visa sponsorship).
Must live within a commutable distance of the office applied to.
