About The Position

The Audit Graduate Programme at BDO offers a unique opportunity to engage in client work, build confidence, and shape your career from the outset. This three-year program allows participants to gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognized professional qualification, the ACA. Audit teams at BDO operate across various specialist areas, including Pension Audit, Public Sector, Not-for-Profit, Financial Services, and Technology Risk Assurance, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audits. Graduates will be entrusted with significant responsibility, supported by experienced colleagues, managers, directors, and partners who provide guidance and facilitate development. The program emphasizes learning by doing, client exposure, and confidence building as responsibilities increase. Upon successful completion and passing of exams, graduates will be fully qualified accountants and guaranteed a permanent role within the firm. The program starts on Monday, September 20th, 2027, with an organization-wide induction that attendance is mandatory for.

Requirements

A minimum 2:2 degree in any discipline (obtained or predicted).
Three A-levels (or equivalent) at A-C (excluding General Studies and Extended Projects), or four Scottish Highers or Advanced Highers at grade A-B (or equivalent, for example BTEC Extended Diploma).
GCSEs at grade 4 and above in Maths and English, or Scottish National 5 grade A-C.
Commitment to balance study and professional work.
The right to work in the UK (candidates must have their own legal right to work within the UK for the duration of their 3-year training contract and employment).
Must live within a commutable distance of the office applied to.
