About The Position

This is a six-week summer internship program designed to provide interns with hands-on experience in the Audit field. The program includes an organization-wide induction, followed by placement in a specific office. Interns will gain experience working with clients, learning about risk assessment, judgment challenges, and understanding financial statement systems. The program offers exposure to various specialist areas within Audit, such as Pension Audit, Public Sector, Not-for-Profit, Financial Services, and Technology Risk Assurance. Successful completion may lead to an offer to return after graduation for the graduate program. The internship focuses on exploring business areas, learning about professional qualifications, and participating in workshops on values, culture, and wellbeing, with opportunities to contribute to live work and build problem-solving, commercial, and relationship skills.

Requirements

Be a second-year student on a four-year undergraduate degree, seeking a third-year work placement.
A minimum 2:2 degree in any discipline (obtained or predicted).
Three A-levels or equivalent at grades A-C (excluding General Studies and Extended Projects) or four Scottish Advanced Highers at grade A-B.
GCSEs at grade 4 and above in Maths and English, or Scottish National 5 grade A-C.
The right to work in the UK.
Must be able to commit to the full six-week duration.
Must live within a commutable distance of the office applied to.
