About The Position

Our Engineering Summer Internship Programme has been crafted to simulate our Engineering Associate Programme so that you can understand what a career in Technology and Engineering at LSEG would really be like. During your time with us you will have the opportunity to explore potential careers paths by working within our D&A, Markets, Risk Intelligence, FTSE Russell, I&C Engineering functions. Roles can vary from development and programming to business analysis and tech project management. During the recruitment process we will get to know your skills and interest and how they align with the needs of the business to place you in the right team. These are real roles. Our 9 weeks summer interns play a part in the success of our organisation, just like they would do as a graduate.

Requirements

  • Must be in your junior year of undergraduate studies.
  • Expected to complete all requirements of your course in summer 2028.
  • Studying a ‘STEM’ subject (science, technology, engineering or mathematics).
  • An interest in technology demonstrated via work experience, extracurricular activities, or academic studies.
  • An interest in financial markets and how technology supports the business.
  • Curiosity for data and an ability to analyze information to draw conclusions and propose solutions.
  • Ability to connect the dots and think creatively.
  • Demonstrate focus, resilience, and flexibility to adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with others using strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrate and recognize that what you achieve is equally important to how you achieve it.
