About The Position

This is a one-year industrial placement program within BDO's Tax practice, starting on September 20th, 2027. The program offers students the opportunity to gain real-world experience, work with clients, and develop technical, commercial, and relationship-building skills. Participants will be supported by experienced colleagues and have the chance to sit professional exams and log practical work experience, potentially leading to a return on the Graduate Programme and qualifying sooner. The placement is designed to provide significant experience and personal support, setting participants on a path for future career success.

Requirements

Be a second-year student on a four-year undergraduate degree, seeking a third-year work placement.
Be on track for a minimum 2:2 degree in any discipline (obtained or predicted).
Have three A-levels or equivalent at grades A-C (excluding General Studies and Extended Projects) or four Scottish Advanced Highers at grade A-B.
Have GCSEs at grade 4 and above in Maths and English, or Scottish National 5 grade A-C.
Have the right to work in the UK.
Be able to attend an organisation-wide induction on 20th September 2027.
Live within a commutable distance of the office applied to.
