About The Position

This is a 4-year apprenticeship program designed for school leavers interested in starting a career in Tax. The program offers hands-on experience while studying towards a professional qualification such as ACA/CTA or ATT/CTA (Tax pathway). Apprentices will build technical knowledge through Tax work, develop commercial skills, and learn directly from experienced professionals. The program aims to provide a supportive environment for growth, with opportunities to take on more responsibility, work with clients, and explore areas of interest. Upon completion, a permanent role is offered. The program emphasizes learning by doing, client interaction, and building strong foundations for a career in Tax. Requirements

  • Three A-levels (or equivalent) at A-C (excluding General Studies and Extended Projects), or four Scottish Advanced Highers at grade A-B (or equivalent, for example, BTEC Extended Diploma).
  • GCSEs at grade 4 and above in Maths and English, or Scottish National 5 grade A-C.
  • Commitment to balance study and professional work.
  • The right to work in the UK for the duration of the 4-year training contract and employment.
  • Ability to live within a commutable distance of the office location (Birmingham, Ipswich, London, Reading or Southampton).
  • Curiosity, logical thinking, and willingness to learn.
