About The Position

Audit / Assurance Managers manage client relationships and audit clients’ financial records for compliance with generally accepted accounting rules and standards. They analyze financial records to identify potential accounting issues, research and present proposed solutions, and communicate with clients to provide recommendations for financial or tax needs. They also train, mentor, and manage team members in audit processes, and build new and strengthen existing client relationships while developing a basic understanding of clients’ businesses.

Requirements

4 or more years of audit experience at a public accounting firm.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
CPA certification is highly desired, or the ability to attain it.

Responsibilities

Analyze client financial records to identify potential accounting issues.
Research accounting issues and present proposed solutions.
Train, mentor, and manage team members in audit processes.
Build new client relationships and strengthen existing ones.
Develop and demonstrate basic knowledge of clients’ businesses.
Communicate and meet with clients as requested.
Provide recommendations to assist clients with financial or tax needs.
