About The Position

Workforce Solutions partners with small to mid-sized CPA firms across the United States to connect them with talent in public accounting. The firm is seeking an Audit Manager to join a respected CPA firm based in Aurora, Nebraska. The role involves managing client relationships and auditing financial records for compliance with generally accepted accounting rules and standards. The manager leads audit and assurance engagements, supports clients with recommendations related to financial or tax needs, and trains and manages audit team members.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a public accounting firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is highly desired, or equivalent work experience.
• CPA certification is highly desired, or the ability to attain it.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client financial records to identify potential accounting issues and research proposed solutions.
• Train, mentor, and manage team members in audit processes.
• Build new and strengthen existing client relationships while demonstrating basic knowledge of clients’ businesses.
• Communicate and meet with clients as requested, providing recommendations to assist with financial or tax needs.
• Lead and manage audit and assurance engagements.
• Manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
