About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio is hiring an Attended Donation Center Attendant in Willoughby, Ohio. The attendant serves as a friendly first point of contact for donors, supports Goodwill’s mission, and helps keep the donation center operating according to agency standards. The role is hourly and full-time, with pay listed as $14.00.

Requirements

• Good people skills.
• Ability to wear a company uniform, including an identification badge.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb stairs.
• Background check required.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open the attended donation center each day on a regular schedule and secure it at the end of the day.
• Greet donors promptly and courteously, within 10 seconds; unload donations from vehicles and maintain accurate daily counts.
• Give every donor a receipt and end each interaction with “You changed a life today, Thank you!”
• Sort donations into categories.
• Keep the drive-through and donation center clean and meeting image standards.
• Order and maintain supplies and keep them secure.
• Notify a supervisor about large items that cannot be stored at the center so a truck can pick them up.
• Help the Transportation team with equipment deliveries and pickups when possible.
• Attend assigned in-service training.
• Follow all safety policies.
