Attended Donation Center Attendant - Green Bay Market
About The Position
The Attended Donation Center Attendant greets and assists donors and safely unloads donations from vehicles, using team lifts when needed. The role maintains accurate daily donation counts, sorts donations into the correct categories, and keeps the work area clean, safe, and organized. It also involves replacing and labeling full gaylords, helping build and break them down, and preparing them for transport. The position is based at the Attended Donation Center in Howard, Green Bay, Wisconsin, and includes frequent donor contact in a retail backroom or warehouse environment.
Requirements
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under time constraints.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience with computers or the willingness and ability to learn.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
- Regular and timely attendance in accordance with the assigned work schedule.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, up to 8 hours.
- Ability to independently twist, lift, carry, push, or pull 10 to 25 pounds, and to use a team lift for objects weighing over 25 pounds.
- Ability to reach approximately 54 inches and frequently stoop, bend, kneel, and crouch.
- Sufficient hand and finger dexterity to perform detailed tasks.
- Ability to verbally communicate and exchange information.
