About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio is hiring an hourly, full-time Attended Donation Center (ADC) Attendant in Willoughby, Ohio, at $14.00. The attendant is a friendly first point of contact for donors and helps create a positive donation experience while supporting Goodwill’s mission. The role involves operating and maintaining the donation site according to agency standards, receiving and sorting donations, and helping with equipment deliveries and pickups when possible. A background check is required.

Requirements

• Good people skills.
• Ability to wear a company uniform, including an identification badge.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform physical duties such as standing, walking, bending, reaching, and stair climbing.
• Background check required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open the ADC on a regular schedule and secure it at the end of the day.
• Greet donors promptly and courteously, within 10 seconds, unload donations from vehicles, and keep accurate daily counts.
• Give every donor a receipt and end each interaction with “You changed a life today, Thank you!”
• Break down donations into categories.
• Keep the drive-through and ADC site clean and up to image standards.
• Order, maintain, and secure supplies.
• Notify a supervisor about large items that cannot be stored at the ADC so a truck can pick them up.
• Help the Transportation team with equipment deliveries and pickups when possible.
• Attend assigned in-service training.
• Follow all safety policies.
