About The Position

The Store Donations Attendant works at outdoor donation trailer sites, welcoming donors and providing friendly customer service. The role accepts donated clothing, shoes, household goods, and other reusable items; helps donors unload; and safely moves, loads, unloads, stacks, and organizes donations in trailers and collection boxes. The attendant keeps the collection sites and surrounding areas clean, safe, and organized, tracks and reports daily donation activity, and follows company safety procedures and operational standards. The position involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions and staying active throughout the shift. Attendants also build relationships with donors and community members and share information about the charity partners supported by donations.

Requirements

At least 18 years old.
Enjoys meeting new people and providing excellent customer service.
Positive attitude and willingness to work independently and take ownership of work.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
Able to lift and carry donated items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable being on their feet and staying active throughout the day.
Organized and dependable, with good time-management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Takes pride in keeping the work area clean, safe, and organized.
Comfortable completing a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Greet donors and provide excellent customer service at outdoor donation trailer sites.
Accept donations of clothing, shoes, household goods, and other reusable items.
Help donors with their donations and create a friendly, welcoming experience.
Safely load, unload, stack, move, and organize donated items in trailers and collection boxes.
Use carts, hand trucks, dollies, and other equipment to move and organize donations safely.
Keep donation trailers, collection boxes, and surrounding areas clean, safe, and organized.
Track and accurately report daily donation activity.
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and stay active throughout the shift.
Follow company safety procedures and operational standards.
Build positive relationships with donors and community members.
Share information about charity partners and the impact of donations.
