About The Position

Granite State Independent Living is hiring per diem Attendant Care Employees in North Conway, New Hampshire. The role provides compassionate, in-home and community-based support to consumers, helping them maintain independence. Schedules are set by consumers and range from 10 to 15 hours per week. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

An LNA license and high school diploma are not required. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, pass a criminal background check, and be able to frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds or more. Adequate car insurance is required if applicable. Training on mechanical lifting devices may be provided if necessary.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and eating.
• Provide in-home care.
• Support range-of-motion activities and exercises.
• Perform laundry, meal preparation, housekeeping, and organizational tasks.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers.
• Use mechanical lifting devices; training may be provided if necessary.
• Remind consumers when it is time to take their medication.
• Provide community support, including running errands.
