About The Position

Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) is hiring per diem Attendant Care Employees in North Conway, New Hampshire. In this role, you provide compassionate in-home and community support to consumers while promoting their independence. Schedules are set by consumers and range from 10 to 15 hours per week.

The position does not require an LNA license or a high school diploma. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, pass a criminal background check, and be able to frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds or more. Adequate car insurance is required if applicable. Training on mechanical lifting devices will be provided if necessary.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and eating.
• Provide in-home care.
• Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
• Perform laundry, meal preparation, housekeeping, and organization tasks.
• Assist consumers with ambulation and transfers.
• Use mechanical lifting devices; training will be provided if necessary.
• Remind consumers when it is time to take their medication.
• Provide support in the community, including running errands.
