About The Position

Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) is hiring per diem Attendant Care Employees in Keene, New Hampshire. The role provides compassionate, in-home and community-based support to consumers, helping them maintain independence. Schedules are set by consumers and are described as flexible. The position pays $22.00 per hour. LNA licensure and a high school diploma are not required. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, pass a criminal background check, and be able to frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds or more. Adequate car insurance is required if applicable. Training on mechanical lifting devices will be provided if necessary.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist consumers with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and eating.
• Provide in-home care.
• Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
• Perform laundry, meal preparation, housekeeping, and organization tasks.
• Assist consumers with ambulation and transfers.
• Use mechanical lifting devices; training is provided if necessary.
• Remind consumers when it is time to take their medication.
• Support consumers in the community, including running errands.
