About The Position
As an At Your Service Center Colleague, you support a seamless and personalized shopping experience by assisting with Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks while upholding Macy’s service standards. The role calls for multitasking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You welcome and assist customers, support total store fulfillment, use the systems needed to complete transactions, and keep pickup and return areas organized. You help maintain a clean, inviting shopping space, complete BOPS orders and curbside deliveries promptly, share loyalty program benefits, and contribute to sales goals and positive team results. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues and continually improving service.
Requirements
- Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays; schedules include weekend shifts.
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Ability to make prompt, sound decisions to address customer needs and resolve issues.
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges.

- Comfort using electronic devices.
- Ability to talk, lift, move, stand, and reach with arms and hands; stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach above eye level.
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Support At Your Service activities, including Buy Online Pickup In Store, merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks.
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, personalized service while addressing their needs and resolving issues.
- Assist with total store fulfillment and complete transactions using the required systems.
- Keep At Your Service, pickup, and return areas clean, organized, and ready for customers.
- Recover merchandise and complete BOPS orders and curbside deliveries in a timely manner.
- Share loyalty program benefits and assist with acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts.
- Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions, and help the team meet sales goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support a positive, effective team environment.
- Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
