About The Position

As an At Your Service Center Colleague, you support Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks while upholding Macy’s service standards. The role centers on delivering a seamless, personalized customer experience through hospitality, teamwork, attention to detail, multitasking, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. You also help keep the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting.

Requirements

Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
Ability to make prompt, sound decisions to address customer needs and resolve issues.
Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges.
Enjoyment of meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.

Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.

Responsibilities

Prepare the At Your Service area for customers by keeping it clean, organized, and ready for business.
Review sales goals and stay informed about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions.
Welcome customers, provide genuine hospitality, and build customer relationships through friendly conversations.
Support total store fulfillment, including Buy Online Pickup In Store, and use the systems needed to complete transactions.
Keep the collection area organized and provide a friction-free customer pickup experience.
Recover merchandise and maintain clean, shoppable pickup and return areas.
Complete Buy Online Pickup In Store orders and curbside deliveries in a timely manner.
Share loyalty program benefits, help customers with their needs, and close interactions with a sincere thank-you.
Collaborate with colleagues to serve customers and the community.
Work toward sales goals, improve performance, and contribute to individual and store results.
Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.
