This is a great first job because it's a privately owned practice with no corporate pressure or production quotas, 40-minute appointment slots, supportive mentorship from experienced veterinarians, highly trained technicians and assistants, and an encouraging culture where questions are welcome and mistakes are treated as learning opportunities. Our technicians and assistants support you by handling client communication and education, medical care plans and estimates, SOAP documentation and appointment flow, and hands-on assistance during exams and procedures.

Requirements

Recent or upcoming DVM graduate
Licensed (or eligible) in the state of Colorado
Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
Team-oriented mindset
Interest in practicing high-quality, compassionate medicine
Comfortable learning in a modern, paperless environment

Responsibilities

Build client relationships and confidence in client communication
Perform physical exams and gradually expand medical, surgical, and dental skills
Develop strong diagnostic and treatment-planning skills
Learn preventative care protocols and wellness planning
Grow comfortable practicing medicine at your own pace—with support
Participate in CE and ongoing learning opportunities
