Physical Therapist - New Graduate Opportunity
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking compassionate and motivated new graduate Physical Therapists to provide one-on-one care to adult and geriatric clients in their homes across territories in Monmouth, Somerset, and Union Counties. The role offers structured orientation, clinical support, and mentorship to help new graduates transition from their DPT program to independent practice. Physical Therapists help clients improve independence and safety while remaining in their homes, and work alongside an interdisciplinary healthcare team. The position includes flexible scheduling and autonomy, weekly pay, mileage reimbursement, and manageable territories intended to minimize travel. BAYADA provides clinical education and continuing development opportunities. Base pay, depending on qualifications, status, territory, market alignment, and negotiation, is $55.00–$65.00 per point, with stated annual earning potential of $85,800–$101,400.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
- Licensed or license-eligible Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess patients' functional status and mobility.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize independence and safety.
- Provide skilled therapeutic interventions in patients' homes.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, mobility, fall prevention, and home safety.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Complete timely electronic documentation while maintaining high standards of patient care.
