About The Position

In The Comfort of Home provides peaceful in-home euthanasia services for dogs and cats, helping pets pass surrounded by the people and places they love. The Associate Veterinarian travels to client homes to provide these services. The mobile practice is based in Albany, New York, and serves the Capital Region. Scheduling and client communications are handled by dedicated support staff, with electronic schedules and logs. The role offers autonomy and support from a local team, as well as paid training in the company’s compassionate approach.

Flexible full-time and part-time scheduling options are available. Full-time veterinarians are required to work one weekend day every other week. Part-time veterinarians are generally expected to work one to two weekend days per month. Compensation is commission-based, with competitive earning potential; full-time veterinarians can earn $150,000 annually. Travel compensation is provided, and an SUV with all-wheel drive is required.
