About The Position

Bernstein Private Wealth Management, a subsidiary of AllianceBernstein L.P. (AB), is seeking an experienced Associate Marketing Strategist (AMS) to support the regional Senior Marketing Strategist (SMS) in developing and executing marketing initiatives, events, and experiences for the Dallas and Houston markets. The AMS will build partnerships with managing directors and advisors to create multichannel marketing strategies aligned with business goals and target demographics. This role involves overseeing event strategy and execution from start to finish, managing budgets, tracking KPIs and ROI, and collaborating with the Data team for data-driven decisions. The position also includes general administration, project management of communications, partnering with an Events Agency and client servicing teams, demonstrating the benefits of integrated communications plans, and supporting a team mentality for coverage of additional offices. The AMS will also lead national projects as needed and identify opportunities for innovation by leveraging technology and staying current on industry trends. Collaboration with the training team is essential to ensure alignment of training, partnerships, and priorities, and to support ongoing internal training for advisors.

Requirements

  • 3+ years previous experience in a marketing/events role
  • Ability to collaborate, build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is strongly preferred
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of prioritizing and executing multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Travel will be required

Responsibilities

  • Build strong partnerships with managing directors (MDs) and advisors to develop multichannel marketing strategies aligned with business goals and priority client demographics
  • Oversee strategy and event execution from start to finish, ensuring each initiative is thoughtfully planned, delivered, and aligned with the needs and expectations of the target audience
  • Accountable for all budget management related to advisor marketing strategies within defined cohort
  • Track KPIs and ROI, reporting on the effectiveness of all activities, inclusive of budget management (as appropriate). Collaborate with the Data team to make the best data-driven decisions for the future.
  • General administration and project management of internal/external mailings, invitations, and other communications
  • Partner with Events Agency (IPE) and advisor’s client servicing team on execution of events and activities
  • Demonstrate the benefit of crafting an integrated communications plan (inclusive of email, social media, strategic partnerships, and more), connecting them with training and resources as appropriate
  • Partner with the other AMS in Central Region to support team mentality for coverage of additional offices
  • Lead national projects on an as needed basis
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for innovation by leveraging existing technology, driving process improvement, and staying current on industry trends and best practices
  • Partner with training team to ensure there is alignment of training, partnership, and priorities and support ongoing internal training for advisors as needed
  • Efficiency/best practice workshops (in partnership with Marketing Technology/Data colleagues)
  • Marketing toolkit implementation workshops (in partnership with Marketing Strategy, Creative, Social Media, Comms & Partnerships, etc.)
