About The Position
This is a continuous recruitment posting for Associate Lecturer/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer positions within the College of Letters and Science, School of Humanities and Global Studies, Department of English at UW-Stevens Point. Applications are accepted to build a pool of candidates for potential future part-time opportunities. Successful applicants will be considered for future needs on a per-course basis each semester. Teaching one semester does not guarantee assignment in the following semester. The teaching load ranges between 1-12 credits per semester. While listed as on-site, partially remote opportunities may be available.
Requirements
- M.A. in English
- Experience teaching English composition courses

- Ph.D. in English
Responsibilities
- Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations
- Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance
- Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
