About The Position
The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) accepts applications for Associate Lecturer/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer positions to create a pool for future needs. Applicants are considered for part-time opportunities on a per-course basis each semester. Teaching one semester does not guarantee assignment in the following semester. The teaching load ranges from 1-12 credits per semester. While the position is listed as on-site, partially remote and remote opportunities may be available.
Requirements
- M.A. in German, Spanish, or related field
- Experience teaching language courses
Nice To Haves
- Ph.D. in German, Spanish, or related field
- Experience teaching culture courses either in the target language or in English
Responsibilities
- Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction.
- Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance.
- Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations.
