About The Position

Cresset is seeking an IT Specialist who reports to the IT Director. The role is responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of Cresset’s IT infrastructure. It provides technical services and support for Windows Domain, Hosted Exchange, Microsoft 365 business applications, and Azure-hosted cloud infrastructure, as well as support for end users, systems, phones, and audiovisual equipment. The position may require travel and on-call support as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Expertise using and supporting Microsoft Office products and other productivity applications.
• Strong experience with TCP/IP and experience securing and supporting internet-connected computers.
• Strong knowledge of Internet protocols, including DNS.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines and communicate effectively with management and end users.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical services and support for Windows Domain, Hosted Exchange, and Microsoft 365 business applications.
• Support Azure-hosted cloud infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation for computer systems and network infrastructure.
• Maintain quality service by enforcing organizational standards.
• Evaluate and recommend IT technology.
• Provide end-user support through the ticketing system and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Adhere to established SLAs while investigating and prioritizing tickets.
• Assist in documenting IT processes, procedures, and systems.
• Provide phone, audiovisual, user, and system assistance and support.
• Handle employee onboarding, setup, and imaging.
• Provide on-call support as needed.
