About The Position

The Associate I, Retail Sales Floor brings processed clothing and other products to the sales floor and keeps the area stocked, organized, clean, and presentable. The associate interacts with customers, answers product questions, and provides excellent customer service. The role also includes maintaining restrooms, merchandising and pricing products according to Goodwill standards, and supporting other departments as needed. The position is part-time and pays $20.34 per hour.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• One year of retail experience is preferred.
• Prior visual merchandising experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed productivity standards and key performance indicators for assigned duties.
• Price products according to Goodwill standards for quality and value, researching item values online or using company tools and standards as needed.
• Keep the sales floor clean and organized by cleaning shelves and racks, picking up items, putting away products from racks, carts, or baskets, and returning unwanted items to their proper locations.
• Merchandise sales-floor areas to standard by category, color, and size, and flex product placement to improve the customer shopping experience and increase sales.
• Communicate targeted product needs for the sales floor to the manager on duty to support production.
• Provide excellent service to customers and staff, follow the 10-foot rule, and answer product questions as needed.
• Rotate or remove old and unsold products from the sales floor in a timely manner to refresh product selection.
• Identify and pull e-commerce products from the sales floor.
• Follow retail center policies, procedures, and safety processes.
• Cross-train in other departments or areas and provide backup as required.
• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the sales floor and restrooms.
