About The Position

The Associate I, Retail Sales Floor ensures the sales floor is well stocked, organized, presentable, and clean, including the restrooms. The associate brings processed clothing and other products to the sales floor, maintains merchandise displays, and helps customers by answering questions and providing responsive, excellent customer service. The role is part-time, requires weekday availability, and may involve a varied schedule including weekends, evenings, holidays, and occasional overtime. The posting is scheduled to remain open through 10/22/26.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of retail experience.
• Prior visual merchandising experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed productivity standards and key performance indicators for assigned duties.
• Price merchandise according to Goodwill standards for quality and value, using internet research or company tools and standards as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor by cleaning and organizing shelves and racks, picking up items, putting away products from racks, carts, or baskets, and returning unwanted or returned items to their proper place.
• Ensure merchandise is categorized, colorized, and sized according to merchandising standards; make decisions about product placement to improve the shopping experience and increase sales.
• Communicate targeted sales-floor needs to the manager on duty to assist production.
• Provide excellent customer service to staff and customers, follow the 10-foot rule, and answer product questions.
• Rotate or remove old or unsold products promptly to refresh selection.
• Identify and pull e-commerce products from the sales floor.
• Follow retail center policies, procedures, and safety processes.
• Cross-train in other departments or areas and provide backup as required.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.
