About The Position

The Associate I, Retail Sales Floor brings processed clothing and other products to the sales floor and keeps the area stocked, organized, clean, and presentable. The role interacts with customers, answers product questions, and provides excellent customer service. Responsibilities also include maintaining restrooms, merchandising and refreshing product, and identifying and pulling e-commerce items. The position may require cross-training and providing backup in other departments.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of retail experience.
• Prior visual merchandising experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed productivity standards and key performance indicators for assigned duties.
• Price products according to Goodwill standards for quality and value, researching items online or using company tools as needed.
• Keep the sales floor clean and organized by cleaning shelves and racks, picking up items, putting away products, and returning unwanted items to their proper locations.
• Merchandise sales floor products according to standards, including categorizing, colorizing, and sizing items, and make adjustments to improve the customer shopping experience and increase sales.
• Communicate targeted product needs for the sales floor to the manager on duty and assist production as needed.
• Provide excellent service to customers and staff, follow the 10-foot rule, and answer product questions.
• Rotate or remove old and unsold products in a timely manner to refresh product selection.
• Identify and pull e-commerce products from the sales floor.
• Follow retail center policies, procedures, and safety processes.
• Cross-train in other departments or areas and provide backup as required.
• Maintain overall cleanliness of the sales floor and restrooms.
