About The Position

The Associate I, Retail Sales Floor ensures that the sales floor is well stocked, organized, clean, and presentable. The role involves bringing processed clothing to the sales floor, merchandising and refreshing products, and interacting with customers by answering questions and providing excellent service. The associate is also responsible for cleanliness of the sales floor and restrooms, following company and safety procedures, and supporting other departments as needed. This is a part-time position at the County Line Store, paying $16.51 per hour. The posting is scheduled to remain open through 10/26/26.

• Ability to work a varied schedule that may include weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed, with occasional overtime.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of retail experience.
• Prior visual merchandising experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed productivity standards, expectations, and key performance indicators for assigned duties.
• Price products according to Goodwill standards of quality and value, researching item value online or using company tools and standards as appropriate.
• Keep the sales floor clean and organized by cleaning shelves and racks, picking items up from the floor, putting away products from racks, carts, or baskets, and returning unwanted items to their proper locations.
• Ensure products are merchandised to standards, including categorization, color organization, and sizing; make decisions about product placement to improve the customer shopping experience and increase sales.
• Communicate targeted sales-floor needs to the manager on duty to assist production.
• Provide excellent service to customers and staff, follow the 10-foot rule, and answer product questions as needed.
• Rotate or remove old and unsold products in a timely manner to refresh selection.
• Identify and pull products from the sales floor for E-Commerce.
• Follow retail center policies, procedures, and safety processes.
• Cross-train in other departments or areas and provide backup coverage as required.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.
