About The Position

Monitors, dispatches and loads balance work orders to field personnel. Responds to requests on information and provides communication between customer service representatives and field personnel.

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or GED.
Requires one year experience with SAP or a mobile data dispatching system.
Requires at least one year experience in/or supporting gas distribution operations or at least one year of equivalent dispatching experience.
Able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a minimal amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Able to demonstrate and apply the manual dexterity to operate a personal computer and common office equipment.
Able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time.
Able to communicate either written and verbal communications either in person or through technical equipment such as telephone.

Responsibilities

Answers the telephone and performs call-ahead request for field technicians.
Receives and dispatches calls and locates.
Dispatches orders via Mobile Data.
Monitors, routes, and documents work orders to service technicians; reviews backlogged work orders.
Coordinates daily operational requirements between internal and external stakeholders.
Resolves scheduling concerns between the company’s Call Center, customers, and supervision to achieve optimum results.
Acts as liaison between the company, customers, state and local governmental agencies in an emergency situation.
