About The Position

The Associate Director, Oncology Priority Accounts drives product pull-through in targeted Priority Accounts and Affiliated Healthcare Systems within the oncology brand portfolio. This field-based and remote role supports key accounts in an assigned geography. The position develops and implements strategic business plans, collaborates across departments to execute institution-centric programs, and builds business relationships with senior partners. It engages decision makers to enable account buying and healthcare professional ordering of Novartis products while identifying insights into new business opportunities. Expertise in the U.S. healthcare landscape and health system structures is essential. The role manages multiple critical priority accounts, which may be less complex or have less overall impact on Novartis Oncology than the most critical priority accounts. The employee must live within the territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 100 miles from its border, and must be able to travel 60–80% across a broad geography by driving and/or flying. Driving is an essential function, and a fully valid and unrestricted driver’s license is required. Novartis does not offer relocation support or visa sponsorship for this position. For field roles with a dedicated training period, the hired individual must successfully complete initial training, including home study, limited to eight or fewer hours per day and forty or fewer hours per week. Customer-facing employees must comply with customer credentialing guidelines, which may require COVID-19 vaccination, subject to applicable law and reasonable accommodations. The expected salary range is $168,000–$312,000 per year. Compensation includes a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on role level, eligibility for consideration for annual equity awards. Eligible U.S.-based employees receive health, life, and disability benefits, a 401(k) with company contribution and match, and a time-off package that includes vacation, personal days, holidays, and other leaves.
