About The Position

Noble’s Associate Director of Integrated Planning sits between strategy and execution, serving as a paid media expert who plans across digital and traditional channels. The role connects paid media with SEO/AEO, content, creative, social, and PR so teams work toward shared client goals and strategy carries through from concept to execution. For the foreseeable future, the Associate Director will also work directly in advertising platforms, building and optimizing campaigns alongside the Performance Marketing team. The position owns paid media strategy for assigned accounts, develops integrated and full-funnel plans, guides cross-functional teams, and supports client recommendations and new-business pitches. It also includes measurement, reporting, testing, quality assurance, mentoring, and an expectation of taking on direct reports as Noble’s planning practice grows.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of paid media experience, preferably at an agency, with hands-on experience in search, paid social, and programmatic.
  • Experience setting paid media strategy and managing budgets for several clients simultaneously.
  • Current, hands-on proficiency with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Campaign Manager, GA4, and at least one DSP such as The Trade Desk or DV360, including the ability to build, launch, and troubleshoot campaigns independently.
  • Experience planning or buying traditional media, such as TV, radio, out-of-home, or print.
  • Experience working with SEO, content, creative, and social teams toward shared client goals.
  • Formal integrated or communications planning experience.
  • Experience building full-funnel plans and allocating budgets between brand and performance goals.
  • Experience planning for clients with multiple brands or regions.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching others and readiness to manage people.
  • Ability to present and defend recommendations to senior clients, in writing and in person.
  • Familiarity with measurement methods such as multi-touch attribution, incrementality testing, and media mix modeling.
  • Familiarity with research tools such as GWI or MRI-Simmons.

  • Travel, tourism, and hospitality experience.
  • Prior direct management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Connect paid media strategy across digital and traditional channels with SEO/AEO, content, creative, social, and PR strategies.
  • Contribute to briefs and guide Performance Marketing, SEO, Creative, Content, and Analytics teams in developing integrated recommendations.
  • Recommend client budget allocation across paid media and other channels, brands, or regions.
  • Maintain media flowcharts and integrated calendars, and ensure execution aligns with approved plans.
  • Lead planning for major campaigns, seasonal pushes, and launches involving multiple channels.

  • Work with the creative team to align strategy, creative execution, and brand identity.
  • Develop paid media plans that define objectives and KPIs, audience targeting, channel and partner mix, budget allocation, flighting, and forecasts.
  • Build, launch, optimize, and troubleshoot campaigns directly in advertising platforms.
  • Set paid budgets and forecast results by channel; work with Performance Marketing Managers on pacing and with the Associate Director of Paid Media on process and operational improvements.
  • Review paid performance, identify when a strategic change is needed rather than routine optimization, and implement that change.
  • Monitor changes to advertising platforms, privacy and tracking rules, automated bidding, and campaign types, and turn them into recommendations.
  • Guide integrated teams through activation, clarifying roles, priorities, and hand-offs between disciplines.
  • Resolve stalled cross-channel work or disagreements about direction so plans can move forward.
  • Coach planners, strategists, and paid media team members on research, plan building, and presenting.
  • As direct reports are added, conduct annual performance reviews and set goals and development plans.
  • Review and approve quarterly and annual paid and integrated plans for high-profile accounts against Noble’s quality standards and client business goals.
  • Work with Analytics to define measurement approaches, including funnel-stage KPIs and channel credit for results.
  • Build and present paid and cross-channel performance reports for high-profile clients, explaining results and recommended next steps.
  • Plan paid and cross-channel tests and recommend budget shifts between channels based on results.
  • Own the accuracy of plans and reports before they are shared with clients.
  • Identify when performance indicates an overall plan change is needed and lead that conversation with the client.
