Associate Delivery Manager
About The Position
The Associate Delivery Manager supports the Enterprise Applications Delivery team, which governs, enhances, and supports Viasat’s core business applications, including SAP, Oracle, procurement, finance, supply chain, and related enterprise platforms. The team partners with business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions, improve processes, manage application roadmaps, and maintain reliable operations across mission-critical systems. This role coordinates multiple projects and operational activities across diverse teams, supports Agile delivery, and helps ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with organizational priorities. The position involves working with business and technology partners on enterprise-scale initiatives, transformation programs, application enhancements, process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement. It offers cross-functional exposure and development opportunities in delivery management, stakeholder engagement, risk management, governance, and executive reporting. The role is site-based, with employees working at least three days (60% or more) per week from a Viasat office or work location within a standard five-day workweek. U.S. citizenship is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience supporting project delivery, program coordination, PMO, Scrum, or enterprise application initiatives.
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
- Experience tracking project schedules, risks, issues, action items, and deliverables.
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery environments.
- Experience preparing project status reports, meeting minutes, and delivery metrics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Ability to analyze project data and provide reporting to stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and business processes.
- U.S. citizenship is required.

- Exposure to Agile delivery practices, Scrum ceremonies, or PMO processes.
- Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Kore.ai, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate enterprise technology initiatives and business-critical projects across SAP, Oracle, and other enterprise platforms.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand priorities, gather requirements, and track action items.
- Monitor project schedules, risks, dependencies, and escalation items.
- Prepare project status updates, metrics, and executive-level reporting.
- Collaborate with technical teams on system enhancements, releases, and production deployments.
- Track operational issues and drive resolution across cross-functional teams.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through automation, AI-enabled tools, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work with vendors, implementation partners, architects, and business leaders to align delivery activities with business objectives.
- Support digital transformation, business process optimization, and enterprise application enhancement initiatives.
- Track milestones, coordinate deliverables, manage dependencies, and support successful project execution.
- Provide visibility into project health, risks, resource needs, and business outcomes.
- Explore software feature integration and automation of interactions with modem software to support continuous deployment to production users.
