About The Position

The Delivery Associate facilitates customer vehicle deliveries by ensuring vehicles are ready before appointments, completing required documentation, and guiding owners through the features and functions of their Lucid vehicles. Deliveries are personalized to customer needs and may take place at a delivery center, virtually, or at an offsite location. The role also supports lease-end vehicle returns by scheduling grounding appointments and ensuring return documentation is complete and recorded.

The position combines customer-facing delivery and lease-return responsibilities with operational tasks such as vehicle quality checks, staging, paperwork, transport coordination, and support for daily operations. Local and occasional overnight travel may be required. The role requires availability for weekends, evenings, nights, and holidays as needed, and involves physical activity including twisting, bending, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of customer-facing professional experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and solve problems.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity.
• Comfort using Salesforce or an equivalent CRM system.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, sales, or a related discipline.
• Ability to engage authentically and courteously with customers and members of the Lucid community.
• Passion and enthusiasm for Lucid products and technological advances.
• Ability to assess customer requirements and interests and provide personalized interactions.
• Strong oral and written communication, empathy, and active listening skills.
• Ability to adjust engagement approaches based on feedback and customer delivery outcomes.
• Ability to prioritize and schedule tasks independently while centering the delivery experience.
• Ownership and responsibility for studio assets, including high-value customer vehicles.
• Passion for electric vehicles and premium vehicle markets.
• Ability to introduce customers to their vehicles and create a memorable orientation experience.
• Ability to handle customer feedback cordially and calmly.
• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year.
• Drivers under 21 must have held a driver’s license for at least 3 years and successfully complete Lucid training upon hire.
• Ability to travel locally and occasionally overnight.
• Ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, nights, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned delivery pipeline and communicate regularly with Sales Specialists to align on delivery readiness.
• Contact customers before delivery to confirm details and set clear expectations.
• Guide customers through vehicle features and functions, tailoring the orientation to their needs and delivery setting.
• Follow up with customers after delivery to address questions.
• Manage lease-end customers and schedule vehicle grounding appointments upon lease maturity.
• Conduct lease-end vehicle intake appointments.
• Represent Lucid by explaining its technological, design, and quality advantages to customers.
• Use Salesforce to document customer activity, delivery details, and delivery specifications.
• Refine the customer engagement approach using feedback and delivery outcomes.
• Manage vehicle readiness, including a final quality check before handoff.
• Prepare and stage vehicles in the delivery area before customer appointments.
• Complete required paperwork and collect documents to finalize deliveries or lease returns.
• Book and track final-mile transport as needed, coordinating with customers and carriers.
• Assist with daily operations as needed.
